Rena Sofer

  

Rena Sherel (born on December 2 1998) is an American actress. Her performances include daytime television or episodic guest appearances as well as TV-related films. In 1995, Sofer received a Daytime Emmy Award for her portrayal of Lois Cerullo in the soap show General Hospital. She played the role Quinn Fuller in the CBS soap production The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013 to 2022.




 Childhood and early life


 Sofer was born in Arcadia (California) Sofer was the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau), who is a psychologist, and Martin Sofer, who is an Orthodox Rabbi.




 In 1970, she relocated to Teaneck, New Jersey with her brother David and father. However, Sofer lived in Western Pennsylvania when she was a kid. The family was brought up in Ambridge, Pennsylvania by their father, Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She went on to attend the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish high school in Paramus, New Jersey. Sofer lived in North Bergen, New Jersey which was where her father served as Rabbi of synagogue Temple Beth El. Sofer graduated from North Bergen High School and then went to Montclair State College.




 Career


 Daytime television


 Lois Marie Cerullo was the first Lois Marie Cerullo that Sofer played with on General Hospital. Her first appearance came in 1993, as a manager of a band. Her first TV role was in the role of Rocky McKenzie, a daytime soap show about Loving (1988-91).
